So what are the strategies to conquer your predatory instincts. First of all is what I call the mastering the zero principle, that is train your brain to think nothing-you are not seeking meditation levels of “no mind”. The second thing is to find a habit that resets your emotions such as smoking a cigar(see health warning below) this is not done to the point of addiction nor is it meant to be a task such as learning to play an instrument- basically if you can make money doing it don’t put it as an habit. Thirdly have talks with yourself of things you won’t do- this is vital so that you don’t end up shooting up a place out of emotional instability or harming yourself/ others in relationships. Fourth pray-this is the unique thing even if you don’t believe in God- like Alcohol Anonymous teaches, its a higher power that you are releasing control over an uncontrolled situation.
