Ok for many reasons I asked the question is it alright to cook pasta in less water. The answer: Most definitely!!!- but only dry pastas work, sorry fresh pasta still needs a lot of liquid. The higher reason is that a lot of places in the world are suffering from water shortages and should be able to enjoy pasta. Let’s look at the Asian way of steaming dough and apply that to pasta efficiently. I have found that the pasta “sticks to the tooth” perfectly- this is joyous post to liven your day- but more importantly let you see the application of different systems to what you thought would be the only way.
